He at least says he is clean other guy (Eric) doesn't say anything but thinks although he hasn't had unprotected sex for years he has had sex and hasn't been tested for over a year.

of course they use no condoms because the one guy is so desperate and needy. Then the sex scene was just wow, and not a good wow. The MC thinks Eric is straight and homophobic, how good of friends can they really be if he doesn't even know Eric is gay? What's the point of this story? So far nothing has happened and we are told there is this five year friendship and connection between these two but never shown anything. they make a big deal but now he has been lusting after this guy for five years and never took any action? Eric is supposed to be this gets shit done, takes action kind of guy. Worse is that the undeveloped characters aren't even true to what little development they had. (he calls Eric's name when he releases but even that seems to have not added anything to the story) then after it is done we get other characters POV and he listens to the other gay masturbating! like WTF really? Why waste words developing the characters or a relationship where we can have pointless non-erotic sex stuff. i already hate those especially in short stories since they add nothing to the story, its fantasy within the fiction and doesn't build the characters or their relationship. So there is a masturbation and fantasy sex scene. That's it! that's all we know for why they like each other and apparently both lust after each other, but neither admit that.

Eh so far are we know is they like each other because they like watching the same type of movie and watch them just the two of them.
